Summarize with:

The wait of six long years came to an end with the most-awaited WordCamp Dhaka 2025 event at Senaprangon. WordCamp Dhaka 2025 was the best event in the world for us at RadiusTheme, and the whole time it was like a precious moment.

RadiusTheme was a Gold Sponsor, and thus we not only attended the event, but we also experienced it and celebrated every moment with the wonderful WordPress community.

WordCamp Dhaka 2025 was a celebration of innovation, passion, community, and growth. Our booth attracted a crowd, and we had meaningful networking sessions, sharing our day with the public as creators of high-performing themes and plugins.

Being a Gold Sponsor Mattered to Us

We have served over 250,000 users worldwide with our premium themes and plugins. Our products are designed to make building a website easy, fast, and beautiful, whether it is an online store, a portfolio site, or a classified ads site.

The reason we did not just sponsor WordCamp Dhaka was to establish our name, but rather to give back to the community that has been a part of our growth and success. Some of the other Gold sponsors were Business Globalizer, ParseLab, SatisfyHost, Tutor LMS, and WPXPO

Amongst others, Platinum sponsors included Bluehost, Jetpack, Kinsta, and Woo. The support from everyone involved keeps ticket prices low (usually just enough to cover the basics) and ensures that everyone, from novices to professionals, can participate in the event.

We decided to sponsor based on our long-standing commitment to the WordPress ecosystem. We were previously part of WordCamps, including sponsoring WordCamp Dhaka 2019 in Sylhet.

Each time we meet the community, we realize how huge the platform is worldwide. Bangladesh is one of the fastest-growing WordPress communities, and its people play a vital role in the future of open-source technology.

What Made WordCamp Dhaka 2025 So Special?

A New WordPress Era After Six Years of Transformation

Many things have changed in the WordPress world since the last WordCamp in 2019. At this time, there were a few significant developments:

Gutenberg evolved from being a concept to the way most people write and edit.

Full Site Editing offered creators unprecedented freedom as never before. AI played a significant role in the content creation process and in enhancing website efficiency.

The difference, however, was that the metamorphosis was not only on the platform but also in Bangladesh.

After some years, local WordPress companies came out as strong players on the global market. Programmers for WordPress are mostly from Bangladesh now. Digital products, themes, and plugins developed in Bangladesh are being utilized by people worldwide.

WordCamp Dhaka 2025 was not only a new beginning but also a remarkable demonstration of the community’s development.

Record-Breaking Number of Attendees

The recent event was attended by over 1,250 participants, the highest number of attendees in a WordPress event held in Bangladesh to date.

The tickets were sold out within just 2 to 3 minutes. This indicates that WordPress is now more popular, exciting, and enjoyable than ever.

People want to network with others, grow together, and be part of a strong movement that will change WordPress’s future.

Sponsors from all over the world

The sponsorship list reflected the event’s worldwide scope.

Among the platinum sponsors were some of the most prestigious companies in the sector, such as Bluehost, Kinsta, and Automattic (Woo, Jetpack). This is a testament to the significant impact Bangladesh has had on the global WordPress community.

When large corporations invest in a local community event, it sends a new message: Bangladesh is not only a part of the WordPress community, but it is also leading and contributing to its development.

The Booth Experience: From Ideas to Discussions

Since the doors opened, our booth has been the center of excitement and curiosity. Developers wanted to know how flexible and customizable the theme was. Agency owners wanted to know how to utilize our plugins and themes to expand their projects. People loved receiving our free items, such as stickers, T-shirts, mugs, notebooks, and other fun goodies.

Our booth was busy from the very beginning of the event. The crowd was great. Passionate developers worked on code, entrepreneurs sought ways to grow their businesses, and fans were eager to learn about the newest plugins. We talked to hundreds of people, and each conversation made us feel more alive than the last.

Product Showcase

WordCamp Dhaka 2025 was the perfect venue for us to demonstrate our value as a company trusted by thousands of users worldwide.

These are some products, among others, that caught the attention of our visitors at the booth:

Classified Listing

In today’s world, people are drawn to the implementation of AI. If you want to build a powerful, feature-rich AI-generated directory, then Classified Listing will be the perfect match for you. It supports Gutenberg, Elementor, and Divi. Attendees acknowledged the advantages of multi-vendor support, in-built monetization options, advanced filtering, and a modern user experience as the main selling points.

The Post Grid

Bloggers, news-site creators, and content marketers were amazed at how they could display their posts everywhere without any difficulty through the use of shortcodes, Elementor, Gutenberg, or Divi — with beautiful layouts and no coding involved at all.

ShopBuilder

WooCommerce builders were so curious about this plugin that they kept asking questions. It was the ability to design entire stores with Elementor, using over 120 widgets, that attracted not only the interest of agency owners but also budding entrepreneurs.

Food Menu

Our Food Menu plugin is an all-in-one restaurant solution for WordPress. It includes a food menu, an online ordering system using WooCommerce, visual table reservation, food pickup, and delivery. With 20+ food menu templates, you can creatively design your online food menu. Visitors were amazed by observing the versatile functionalities of the Food Menu plugin.

Other Themes & Plugins

We also showcased our ever-growing collection of themes and plugins, which are designed with a focus on usability, scalability, and performance. The feedback was very helpful to us in terms of developing future updates and new features.

Diving into Sessions: Getting Ideas and Learning from the Best in the Business

Running the booth was our primary activity, but we also managed to attend some crucial sessions and gain valuable insights that would inform our development efforts.

The keynote by Matt Mullenweg, the CEO of Automattic and co-founder of WordPress, was phenomenal. Although it was delivered online, it had a profound impact. He made a mention of the work done in Bangladesh with WordPress, highlighting the rapid growth of the community and the dedication of its members. He also mentioned some significant changes, including separating content and design to make workflow following easier, hiding front-end blocks, improving drag-and-drop functionality, and introducing new developer tools such as the Interactivity API, HTML API, Data Views, and Abilities API.

All the speakers we were able to listen to today presented something of great value to the audience, irrespective of whether it was technical depth, clarity of thought, or inspiring viewpoints.

Sumit Saha’s technical insight was so deep that it opened our minds to new ways of thinking.

Nizam Uddin’s telling of the strategy he took, which detailed the complexity of the ideas and made them seem very human and even applicable.

And of course, Hasin Haider always managed to strike the right balance of humor and deep thinking — he made us laugh while also challenging us to reevaluate our beliefs.

A Big Thank You to the WordPress Community

Thank you to everyone who visited our booth, smiled, provided feedback, or took home some of our free items.

You are the real heroes for making this event run smoothly, from the organizers to the volunteers to the speakers.

To all our fellow sponsors and exhibitors, thank you for your collaboration and for being part of our community.

To the WordPress community: you are the reason we do what we do.
