To configure the Special Menu Popup, navigate to Food Menu → Settings → Special Menu Popup from your WordPress admin dashboard.
This feature lets you create time-limited special menu offers displayed as a customizable popup on the front end — ideal for promoting daily specials, limited-time discounts, or seasonal deals.
1. Enable Special Menu #
Toggle this on to activate the special menu popup on your website.
- Popup End Date: Pick the date when the special menu popup stops displaying. After this date, the popup will automatically be hidden from visitors.
- Popup Close Behavior: Choose how long the popup stays hidden after a visitor closes it (e.g., Hide for 24 hours). This prevents the popup from repeatedly appearing and annoying returning visitors.
- Special Menu Title: Enter a title for your special menu popup (e.g., Today’s Special).
- Discount / Offer: Describe the offer or discount being promoted (e.g., 30% off, Buy 1 Get 1 Free).
- Special Menu Text: Add any additional text about the menu duration or availability (e.g., Available until 5 PM).
- Special Menu Products: Search and select the specific products you want to feature in the special menu popup.
- Exclude Pages: Search and select pages where the special menu popup should not appear. This is useful for hiding the popup on pages like checkout, cart, or any page where it might disrupt the user experience.
- Button Text: Customize the call-to-action button label (e.g., Order Now).
- Button Link: Enter the URL where the button should redirect customers (e.g., https://example.com/menu).
2. Modal Dimensions #
Control the size of the popup modal window.
- Modal Min Width: Set the minimum width of the popup in pixels (px).
- Modal Min Height: Set the minimum height of the popup in pixels (px).
3. Colors #
Customize the visual appearance of the special menu popup. Each option accepts a custom hex color code or a selection from the preset swatches.
- Title Color: Set the color of the popup title text.
- Background Color: Set the background color of the popup.
- Button Background: Set the background color of the call-to-action button.
Button BG Hover: Set the background color of the button when a user hovers over it.
Special Menu Front End View #
Below, you can see the front end pop up about the special menu offers. Customers will see this pop up whenever they visit your website.
