After successfully activating the Portfolio plugin you need to configure the plugin. Navigate the WordPress admin menu, find Portfolio => Settings
1.1 Slug: Set the slug configuration. After changing the permalink make sure you reset the WordPress mail permalink; otherwise the detail page will give a 404 error.
Now, click on the “Save Changes” button to update the setting.
