With a multi-category selection feature, users can choose multiple relevant categories of their items during listing submission. Because of this, they can reach out to a wide range of audience. This feature is perfect for a multi-directory site that contains business listing, service listing, real-estate listings, job portals, and many more categories.
To enable this action, you need to access the specific form builder.
1. In the Basic Information section, you’ll find the ‘Category’ field. Click the ‘Edit’ icon.
On the right side, you’ll notice new setting options for the category field.
2. Multi-selection: Check the options for multi-selection. By enabling this, users can select multiple categories during listing submission.
3. Max Selection: Determine the number max selection item that a user can choose.
4. Search Result Limit: As an admin, you can select the search result limit.
5. Required: You’ll get the freedom to select whether this field is required for form submission or not.

In the front-end, during listing submission, users can choose their preferred category according to the multi selection limit. This feature ensures users never feel restricted in choosing categories while listing submission. For example, A user wants to list posts of a digital gadget. This post falls under the mobiles, computers, laptops, or tablets.
